Colour Correction Filters
 
• Glasslite colour correction filters are used to correct the colour temperature of lamps. the filters can change the light to appear warmer or colder without changing the luminaire or lamp.
 

For example MSL halogen medical examination lights utilise a correction filter when a "cooler" coloured temperature is required for improving the recognition of blood vessels (cyanosis observation).
 
Lamp: 12V 35W 10° Osram IRC.

Without Filter 3034°K
With Filter 4059°K
